The Association is an all-volunteer organization, run by an elected board and committee chairs. Membership is free for people within the area, and meetings are open to all. During the year, 9 meetings are held the 3rd Tuesday of the month from January to June and from September to November. No formal meetings are held in July, August, or December. We normally meet at 7:00 p.m. at Room 303, City Hall on Midvale and N 175th, but are currently meeting via ZOOM.

Often there are program speakers from city departments, King County, and local organizations. Our newsletter is also published nine times a year and we have an email list for meeting reminders.
An annual work party is held on the 3rd Tuesday of every July, normally in Echo Lake Park at the north end of the lake. An Earth Day clean-up project is held in April.
